Brilliant. She was in the papers every day. Pics of her running through Hyde Park surrounded by paps - it was a huge deal - she was a huge deal. It was as though no one could believe Madonna was in town because she was so huge. I remember the build up - being twelve and planning my outfit for weeks before hand, My mum even did a photo shoot of me with my newly short hair (Inspired by Madonna of course....), fishnet tights and mini skirt. I remember going with my cousin Lizzy and her boyf and being utterley transported. She was ace, she was muscley, she danced brilliantly and she was soooooo rude for 1987. Groundbreaking, exciting, entertaining - exactly what your pop idol is supposed to be. The glamour, the glitz, the showbiz. Fucking brilliant, good show Madonna, I loved it and all that surrounded it! x
