Famous Fans
I was lucky enough to have a seat at the end of the catwalk and loved every minute.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were sitting next to me. I'm not a fan of either so I wasn't starstruck, I bumped into Chris when I reached forward to get a balloon, neither of us said sorry.
Madonna looked, sounded and danced amazing!! |

Seeing My Hero For The First Time
Madonna, you are and have been a continuing influence and inspiration in my life. Your music is a perfect soundtrack, every album, era, video, performance displays something that i think about or do. When i saw you live on The Confessions Tour it was my first ever concert tour, by my favorite music hero! And damn it was a night and a vibe that i cannot describe. I can repeat viewings on my DVD player but that spark and magic I felt there, the energy was just astounding...as i am sure you know. And believe me by the concert finale i was sweating buckets! Cannot wait to see you live on your next tour, and really am anticipating your return to music with your next album of EPIC material! Many Happy Returns Queen ]\/[!

2 hours of perfection!
This was the first of three Confessions shows that I went to. I still remember that moment when the giant disco ball opened to reveal my icon Madonna! For two hours I really did forget my problems, administration bills and loans! no one in the history of the earth has the same amazing energy that our M has on stage. The whole of Wembley was transformed into the greatest disco, dance floor and nightclub all rolled into one! Each song was perfectly chosen for the set list, each dance move and note executed in perfection, and a stage full of dancers and musicians who complimented the Queen of the Universe! Upon leaving a Madonna concert you are left with an amazing positive energy and a memory that will always make you smile. From the first time I saw M perform on the Drowned World Tour to her most recent tour Sticky & Sweet, she never fails to amazing me. But will always remember how open mouthed I was when the disco ball opened, the roar of the crowd, and our Queen with a cheeky smile on her face looking out at her adoring fans. you will always be the greatest and thank you for the amazing spectacle that was the Confessions Tour. |

Running, rushing back for more
It was show 16th of 22 shows from my very own mini Confessions Tour. A few months earlier I had scored a second row seat by the catwalk for the 12th August show. Already I was having the time of my life seeing Madonna perform across America and Europe and had amazing experiences but this night turned out extra special.
Whilst Madonna performed one of my all time favourites, Drowned World, she caught my eye as I was stretching over the barrier with my hand out in her direction pleading with my best puppy dog eyes for her to take it. Her beautiful stare seemed to last a life time whilst I reached out but was too far for her to take my hand. Running through my mind was "this is never gonna happen" and then suddenly from her seated position on the stairs of the catwalk she leaned forward and reached out, smiled and our fingers meet. OMG I was so happy and once this moment ended Madonna was so kind to keep looking in my direction whilst I fumbled with my camera and took the most beautiful picture of her.
As the show closed I could not believe my luck and I was the happiest man alive. How would any of my friends ever believe my story. Well, as it turned out someone had taken a photo from the opposite side of the catwalk and caught this magical moment and was so happy for me and got my attention after the show and we have been good friends ever since. I guess Music really does make the people come together.
Madonna happy birthday and thank you so much for this and many other amazing tour memories. Hurry up and get back on the road. See you soon.
